 This book was written for my daughter Jules when she was 8 years old. Being a dressage professional i wanted to make sure that Jules knew the responsibility of owning and caring for a pony.
Jules 'dream' was one shared by countless boys and girls - to have a pony of her own. On the morning of her ninth birthday the dream came true when a little grey pony trotted up the driveway.
This was sonly the beginning of many months of hard work as mother was determined that Julie should know all about the care and handling of her new pony before attempting her first riding lesson.
