Bert Rutten wants to see a 'happy' horse, ridden forward with a consistent connection through the back and from behind. Bert really hammers this simple principle and he will have riders do basic exercises time and time again until he is satisfied the horse is 'through from behind'. Only then will Bert allow the horse and rider to continue on with FEI dressage movements.
Bert is a sympathetic and enthusiastic teacher and is comfortable with professional and amateur alike. Bert has helped Jules find the 'core' on all her horses and ride them all 'from the back to the front'.
