A Healing Service for Courtney
|
Two days before the Palm Beach Derby, Courtney King Dye had a accident off a young horse and in the fall suffered multiple fractures to her skull. She is still unconscious but in stable condition and will undergo surgery shortly. She was to have shown three horses at the PBD in the CDI and in national events.

This was a huge event with over 500 horses entered with over 100 horses in the CDI classes. The photo left is of Par Avion and Jules who put in solid tests in the mid sixties at Inter1, throughout this competition.  Teamworkdressage had two horses showing at Welcome back to White Fences 1,at the beautiful venue of White fences Loxahatchee.

We have been receiving photos and weather reports from Autum Rae who is currently renting our VA barn and Leila Sharif who comes as often as possible to ride Jennifer Ostrander's Hanovarian mare Melisande, who did not make it down to sunny Jupiter.

Warm Welcome to Ronnie Levine and Royal Reflection
|
Teamworkdressage is delighted to welcome Royal Reflection (aka Benz) to the team at our winter home in Jupiter, FL. Benz is owned by Ronnie Levine who is not only a horse lover but also fantastic fun.
Benz is a 5 year old, 17h, gelding by Royal Prince.

Primadonna wins the FEI 5 year old Test in Wellington, FL
|
Primadonna, owned by Roberta Pala of Centerville, VA placed second in her first FEI 5yr old test and was Champion the following day.She is Lippi/Frisian cross representing bloodlines from Proud Meadows, Texas. We have been training Primadonna since she was a four year old and we love the talented Prima!

Sadly our current GP and GPF star Absolut was scratched from the CDI due to a foot problm.
The Oldenburg mare Delancy competited PSG and I1 in a huge field of over 40 horses all looking to qualify for the National Championships at Gladstone, NJ later in the year.

Jules blue bike put to work at dressage shows

 Teamworkdressage does believe in teamwork, particularly at the dressage competitions at Wellington. First the horses, Ginger does a great job to get them looking great and helps organize the stabling. Friends and clients pitch-in to unload and set up all the tack, feed and our teamwork recreational area equipped with tables, chairs assorted 'goodies', gum bears, chips and fruit, water, sodas and wine.

Absolut wins the GPF Jan 6/7th in the Wellington Dressage Classic
|
We had a fun team at the show - four clients showing plus teamworkdressage showed four horses over the two days on Open Classes.
Absolut has been improving his suppleness, half pass and piaffe over the past month and we we excited to see Absolut in the winners circle at this show.

Parlambo scores 60+% at his first Grand Prix in FL
|
Parlambo, owned by Cheryl Fincher of OK is represented for sale by teamworkdressage. Jules showed him in the Grand Prix open class on Saturday & he scored over 60% in a very strong field of experienced horses.Parlambo will show GP again later in the season, if he is not already sold.

Libby: teamworkdressage coach in chief!

It takes a 'team' to get teamworkdressage organized, tacked up and competition worthy. My role is coaching, test reading, the final polish up, plus the important last minute tips before entering the ring. Jules is normally pretty well organized and rides up to 10 horses a day and still finds time to spend with our clients.

Fun in the sun - riding the Jupiter canals
|
 All of the teamworkdressage's 14 horses at our Jupiter farm ride the canals daily. The scenery is beautiful and wild life abundant which makes all the canal rides quite exciting at times.

The horses and riders love the freedom of cantering down the canals on perfect sandy footing and breathing in the fresh air and sunshine.

Absolut shows Grand Prix & Delancy at Inter1 at the Gold Coast Opener Jan 20-23!
|
Absolut is still green at GP, so showed in the open show. He made some mistakes but again showed that he is going to make a wonderful GP horse with time and exposure over this winter season. He placed third in the I11 and second in the GPF.

Jules showed Parlambo a very large PSG class on Saturday and placed seventh, with a 64%, despite a couple of mistakes. On the Sunday Parlambo produced a consistent I1 and placed fourth with a 65+%.

Lady Longchamp wins the Fourth 3 in Wellington, FL.
|
Lady Longchamp also competed in the Wellington Dressage Classic Challenge. She behaved so well over the two day freezing, windy competition - In the 4.1 Lady tied third with another teamworkdressage horse Sir Jearly for third place.

 We have been fortunate to has the services of a wonderful groom for the winter show circuit in FL. Ginger Garrett from Richmond VA arrived early in January and has not stopped running yet. From pulling manes, giving medications, grooming, braiding and even riding down the canals with Jules on a daily basis on some rather exuberant horses.

Libby on duty

 The first show for teamworkdressage in FL is the Wellington Dressage Classic Challenge 1 on the 9-10 January We are showing Sir Jearly at 4.1, Lady Longchamp at 4.2 and 4.3 and Parlambo at PSG and I1.
Meanwhile life goes on as usual at our Jupiter base with schooling in the arena, long canters down the canals and now a new addition a hot walker to give the horses some longer time just walking and reflecting the sunshine.

Primadonna enjoys the FL sunshine

Primadonna owned by Marie and Roberta Pala has settled in well at her new Jupiter home. Primadonna will be showing FEI 4 year old classes in February.
We are excited that the new horse walker will soon be in operation allowing us to condition the horses daily, apart from training, with intervals of walk and trot.

We had a lovely family Christmas at our farm at Jupiter FL and now we are looking forward to the show season ahead of us in FL
Our first show will be at the Jim Brendon Center at Wellington, FL and after that we will be showing nearly every weekend until the end of March.

Pas de Deux USDF Championship for 2009
|
 Congratulations to Jules Anderson and Absolut and Meghan Micaels and Gold Standard for winning the USDF Pas de Deux Championship 2009.
This Pas de Deux won at every show with great scores. The music was from The Terminator and was produced by our musical expert Deberah Brookhouser.
