Megan Winkler and Wittus up date.

Jodi Winkler purchased the GP competitive schoolmaster Wittus, from 'teamworkdressage' early this year. Megan has been working with her coach in OH and also when she can with George Williams.

Below is a great letter from Jodi which has us all so delighted

Libby,

I wanted to give you an update.

Megan has her qualifying scores for 4th level and will be moving to PSG in July. Finally she has learned to count and has her series changes down (this was a challenge). Scores now to 65 so it is coming. She loves him to death and he has been a great teacher!

.

George is in the process of moving, but we are still trying to arrange lessons with him at least on a couple times a month basis. He has been at the last two shows, but it seems to work that he has a ride just after Megan so has not got to watch her ride yet.

Hope all is well with you and Jules. What is your fall show thoughts? Thinking that Megan will likely need to do fall/winter shows in the south to get her YR qualifying scores, at least this is her coach's thoughts. Let me know as her coach will go to FL for a bit to ride with George, but with school for Megan not sure how this will work. But if there were places in your area it would give us options.

Regards,

Jodi

Debbie Hubbard Professional Dressage Rider and Trainer

March 2009

Debbie Hubbard purchased the 5 year old, KWPN mare Willemina who is by the famous Dutch stallion Ulft:

Debbie Hubbard (dressage professional rider and trainer)

"The horses for sale that I rode at 'teamworkdressage' were high quality, correctly trained horses with good attitudes. I enjoyed working with professionals that obviously have the horse's best interests in mind at all times"

Debbie also added " Willemina has been a blast and is very popular with the kids at the barn, she is so friendly and loves to lick!".

Debbie is looking forward to showing Willemina this summer.

Kim Schiser (professional dressage rider and trainer)

We will miss Jules Anderson!

Kim Schiser Jules Anderson is gifted with the ability to take difficult or what some people might consider "average" horses and show them what they are capable of achieving. She has taken many horses that most people would have given up on and made them into Grand Prix competitors. Jules has a gift not only with horses, but also with people. She has a unique ability to instill confidence in her students riding. Kim Schisler feels blessed to have had the opportunity to work with Jules. Kim knows that without Jules help she would not be where she is today. When Kim first came to Jules at the end of August 2007, Jules guided and supported her in some difficult decisions that she had to make regarding a horse that she owned, which she was unable to ship home from Germany.

Kim Schiser (professional dressage rider and trainer)

Jules helped Kim get the most out of a new partnership with Claudius, and she helped Kim and Sarastro move up to Prix St. George and Intermediare 1. Kim feels that the expression "she'd give you the shirt off her back" describes Jules best! Jules is a selfless individual that is constantly striving to help other people. We will all miss Jules, but we wish her the best of luck as she moves to Virginia where she will join her mother's Jilba Dressage with her own Teamwork Dressage.

Megan Winkler ( Junior rider-14 y amateur and Young Rider for 2010)

Megan Winkler ( Junior rider-14 y amateur and Young Rider for 2010)

"He is wonderful! I have yet to see a ride where Megan doesn't end smiling, even the days when what she is trying to master is a challenge for her. Wittus is patient and forgiving with her, but at the same time gives her gentle reminders that keep her aware.

They'll do the clinic with Conrad the first weekend in May, then are
going to a show the following weekend at 4th level. Both people she is taking lessons with would like to see her a bit more polished before going out at PSG, but based on the last two lessons this should likely happen by the shows in June 2009".

Delancy owned by Rebbecca Hendrix of NJ (AA)

Delancy was the first horse shown to me at 'teamworkdressage' when I was dressage horse hunting last year. I fell in love with Delancy although I knew that it would be a long road to FEI. Since then Delancy, now "The Delancy", has proved to be a 'Diva' and Rebbecca has channeled Delaney's forward ambition into positive energy. They will show at Third level this year.

Delancy owned by Rebbecca Hendrix of NJ (AA)

Delancy is an Oldenburg Verband, 16 h, 7 y, chestnut mare by the stallion Dublin who is by the famous KWPN Ulft who has sired countless dressage horses.

Jules and Libby look forward to working with Rebbecca and Delancy on their journey to FEI.

Beacon, Fabrice S and Royal Dreams: Holly Haines (AA)

Jules has been been teaching Holly for almost 6 years and during that time Holly has purchased 3 dressage horses with Jules assessment and approval.

Beacon, Fabrice S and Royal Dreams: Holly Haines (AA)The first dressage horse was a SWB named Beacon who performed well at the lower levels and was sold a hunter/jumper allowing Holly to purchase her second dressage horse Fabrice S an imported quality Hanoverian who went onto become the USA FEI 6 Year Old Champion at Devon in 2005 and Holly won and placed in 3 Regional Championships and gained her USDF Bronze Medal. In 2006 Jules had successfully competed Fabrice S in the Grand Prix with scores of 60- 67%, During this period Holly was finding that Fabrice's big movement was hard to sit and was causing Holly significant back problems.

Beacon, Fabrice S and Royal Dreams: Holly Haines (AA)

The perfect solution appeared: Jules and Libby owned a lovely black 3 year old Hanoverian gelding Royal Dreams' who was by the famous stallion Ratspon. Holly sold Fabrice S and was able to purchase Royal Dreams from Jules and Libby. A dream come true for Holly, a wonderful, talented and comfortable horse who went on to place in the FEI Young Horse classes at Devon and then with Holly win and place at Regional Finals.

Benny and Everton H: owned by Danielle Perry (AA)

After completing college Danielle was able to think about purchasing her first horse and pursue her riding dreams. Libby and Jules found Benny, a sweet, first horse who really gave Danielle the chance to improve her seat and understanding of dressage.

Benny and Everton H: owned by Danielle Perry (AA)

A year later Jules began to look for a serious dressage horse for Danielle and found Everton H (Tony), a KWPN ex-driving horse. In the teamworkdressage training program Tony became a very competitive dressage horse. Danielle earned her USDF Bronze Medal on him and needs one more score to gain the USDF Silver Medal. Jules has shown Tony, Grand Prix and scored in the high 60's% and feels confident he will take Danielle to her USDF Gold Medal in the future.

Good Luck: owned by Kimberly Veranchio (AA)

Kimberly says, "Good Luck (Lucy Loo) is the most talented, athletic horse I have ever owned. Libby and Jules did a great job matching us up and together we have exceeded my performance dreams and I look forward to riding the Grand Prix.

Good Luck: owned by Kimberly Veranchio (AA)As to her breeding - the high praise that I often receive from professionals with regards to Lucy's conformation and movement, speaks volumes. In her ISR/Oldenburg inspection resulted Lucy received a total score of 106 - the top score for the inspection."

Leopold Q: (now Lymrix) owned by Crystal Kroetch (Professional FEI rider/trainer)

Lymrix and Crystal have scored in the high sixties in Canada under "O" judges. Crystal is a well known Canadian Grand Prix rider and trainer and we were delighted when she purchased Leopold as they were immediately a fantastic match.

Leopold Q: (now Lymrix) owned by Crystal Kroetch (Professional FEI rider/trainer)

Crystal says: "Lymrix is a wonderful horse and exactly how Jules and Libby represented him to me. He has most of the Grand Prix movements and sometime this year (2009) I hope to show him Grand Prix." We are very proud of Crystal and Lyrmix and wish them continued success.

Miraldo & Cabernet: owned by Debbie Bishop (AA)

"Jules and Libby are skilled at evaluating both horse and rider to ensure a great match. I found Miraldo a 17h Dutch/TK cross and on Jules's approval I purchased this gallant gentleman. Miraldo was so generous, he taught me the feel of a swinging back and improved my half halts, I was very much in love with this gentle giant. I was truly devastated when I had to make the decision to humanely euthanize Miraldo, due to complications from colic surgery."

Miraldo & Cabernet: owned by Debbie Bishop (AA)

"After many months of grieving, I felt I may be ready at last to own a horse again, which is how Cabernet came into my life. She was a young mare, though both Libby and Jules felt she was a good match - well bred and level headed - which has proved to be so. She scored in the 70%'s with Jules at second level; quickly learnt her temi changes; shows excellent technique schooling piaffe, passage and I am excited to earn my USDF medals as we progress up the training scale. In 2008 our family moved from Georgia to Colorado. My new trainer, here in Colorado, says that Cabernet is one of the few horses who does not have to repeat anything that she has learned -she owns it. I am very fortunate have Cabernet in my and proud of our progress.

Wittus: owned by Kirsten Braden (AA)

"It was a pleasure working with such honest, forthright and talented professionals". Wittus was sold by 'teamworkdressage' to a talented Young Rider, February 2009.
