The Hendrix family rescued them from a sad situation in NJ, and the story now has a very happy ending.

Little Little and Boo Boo

Little Little and Boo Boo are our latest Beagle/Bassett additions on the dogie front, they have fitted in so well with Twiggles and Diggles, also Beagle/Bassett cross and Libby's 'new' rescue dog (a Bijou/Corgi cross) who we adopted a few months after the passing of our much loved 'barn manager' Miffy from spinal cancer.

We look forward to a long and lasting partnership with all our pets.

Miss Kissie

Some months after we lost Miffy we decided to adopt another dog. At the Peggy Adams Shelter in West Palm Beach, we found a mixed bred puppy who was so scared that she spent the first 30 minutes crouching on the door trying to escape from Jules and I.

We lay on the floor and crawled up to her and at last she wagged her tail and accepted us. End of story we adopted this fearful puppy who was said to be Bijou/Corgi mix. As this puppy was so grateful and wanted to kiss everyone all the time we called her Miss Kissie.

When Kissie arrived at the Shelter in November 2009 she was 8 months old and very thin at 17 lbs, July 2010 she is a healthy 53 lb and just in love with all our family. Kissie is no longer a small dog and we think she is probably 80% Bijou,and she stands guard to protect all the cats and dogs if she thinks there is a prowler.

Update on Twiggles and Diggles

With our new 'doggie' additions to 'teamworkdressage' we feel we should update Twiggles and Diggles, our 11 year young rescue Beagles.

They are doing just fine and enjoy the younger company of Kissie, Boo Boo and Little Little

Melisande enjoys the 'white out' conditions

Jennifer Ostrander's Hanovarian mare Melisande did not come with us to Jupiter, FL.

Melisande stayed in VA to be near her family, our friend and working student Leila Sheriff has been working Mel regularly in between snowstorms

Tough winter at Jilba Catharpin, VA

At teamworkdressage's summer base at Jilba, Catharpin, VA the winter 2009/2010 has been one snow storm after the other.

Miffy 1999-2010

Today we lost Miffy due to spinal tumors which grew rapidly and were non-operative. Thanks to the wonderful veterinarians at Jupiter and the Neurogical Center at Stuart, FL

New Additions to the feline family

Mia and Priscilla (otherwise known as 'the terrorist') have settled into family life at teamworkdressage. Tufts our other Maine Coon rescue who has been with the family for over a year has taken to playing 'wild' with Priscilla and they are good friends. Mia has settled in well and has overcome her fear of dogs and is able to boss Miffy, Twiggles and Diggles around.

All three cats and three dogs are good friends.

A farewell to Fluffy

Fluffy our much loved 20 year old kitten died at our Jupiter farm before Christmas 2009.

Farewell Fluffy we know you have gone to a better place but we still miss you very much. Fluffy has taught Tufts all he knows about life and Tufts will pass this information onto Mia and Pricilla.

Tufts is a new member to our teamwork family
