In 2003 Pam and her family moved to a beautiful farm in Alpharetta, GA and invited Jules to run teamworkdressage from their farm. So for the next five years Jules was fortunate to lease their facility, teach Pam and train her two wonderful horses.

Pam is a Mother of five, a business mentor too many, cool-headed, charming, tall, funny and actually, pretty inimitable. Needless to say, Jules enjoyed her five years at the Pure's farm and feels privileged to call Pam a friend, as well as a great student.

In 2002, Journey, a seven year old, Percheron/TB cross was purchased by Pam. Jules felt that Journey was a good size for Pam, willing and certainly capable of learning up to third level dressage. For at this time Pam was still finding her balance in the saddle, like many adult amateurs, who come to dressage later in life.

Two years later, Journey was competing with over 60% at Grand Prix, with Jules, but was still too difficult for Pam to properly balance and enjoy her rides. So Journey was sold and moved to AZ, where he is adored by his new owner, who renamed him Zeus. Luckily Pam's next two two horses selected by Jules provided the sense of progress and harmony that Pam needed with her extraordinary and busy schedule.

Opus is a feisty, grey gelding who had shown successfully Inter 1 and was discovered retired and for sale, in a field in GA. He is now in his twenties and so happy to still be in work. Opus has given Pam the opportunity to experience sitting canter pirouettes, tempi changes to two's, easy lateral work and a swinging back. You could not ask for a better school master and Pam loves him to death.

V-Frolik was selected by Jules for Pam and imported from Bert Rutten, in the Netherlands, as a three year old. Right from the start riding Frolik, improved Pam's feeling in the saddle, as his back was by nature supple and his temperament steady and generous, even as a young horse. So Frolik complimented what Pam was learning on Opus and enabled Pam to very quickly improve and become an FEI rider.

Jules and 'teamworkdressage' had five great years with Pam and leaving was very sad and emotional for 'teamworkdressage' GA, and Jules. I hope you all understand that Jules was needed here at Jilba, due to my various health issues, though I know that did not make it any easier to say goodbye.
